Hello,
I want to assemble a PC and i m on a tight budget so i can't afford i7, xeon or ryzen,etc.
I have two builds in my mind but I don't know with which one should i go

First build -
Amd fx 8350
Gigabyte 970 gaming motherboard
DDR3 RAM 8GB (1600mhz)

OR

Second build -
Intel i3 7100
Msi h110
DDR4 RAM 8GB

I will inrease the RAM to 16gb later on and will add a graphics card too. But this time i need help to choose between these two builds.
Kindly tell me why should i choose one you are advising me.

Solution
Ryzen 3 1200 should cost no more than the i3 7100 and is a much better option than both of those.

The FX series are nearly obsolete and means investing in hardware with no upgrade path. I cannot recommend an FX cpu in 2017, its 6 year old cpu design.

The i3 makes no sense. The G4560 is 90-95% the same performance but nearly 1/2 the price.

The Ryzen 1200 is a true quad core with good upgrade path. It will outperform the others for rendering and most gaming except the i3 might win a few there.

Hi there, Thank you all for your answers.
As you guys suggested so here's my new build -
-AMD Ryzen 5 1400
-MSI B350 Gaming Plus Mobo
-Corsair DDR4 8GB (2400mhz)

Is it OK to go with Ryzen 1400 or Should i stick to ryzen 1200?
Would I notice better performance than Ryzen 1200 or I am spending extra for nothing?
