My 2133Mhz DDR3 ram keeps on running only at 1333mhz. Help!

Please Help! I've been having this issue for some time and I can't fix it!

Here is my setup:
AMD A10-7870K
G.skill ares blue 2133MhZ 8GBx2 Ram
Asus A88XM-A usb 3.1 motherboard
EVGA 500 B power supply
Hyper evo 212
seagate baraccuda compute 4tb hard drive
ADATA 120gb ssd
Seagate barracuda 150gb Hard Drive
and Windows 8.1

Well you either have to enable XMP or it may be called DOCP on AMD mobo's, this will apply the RAM's advertised speeds automatically. Either that or you will have to set the speed, timings, and voltage manually. The mobo will default to the DDR3 standard which is either 1333mhz or 1600mhz, the RAM's advertised speeds if they are beyond the DDR3 standard will not be automatically applied.

Your RAM is being limited due to some BIOS config. Go in the BIOS and step up the RAM speed. Also, enable the "Configure RAM timings by SPD" if it's not already enabled. Hope that helps.

1) Change Ai OC Tuner from [Auto] to [Manual]
2) Change Memory Frequency from [Auto] to [DDR3-2133MHzl]
3) Change DRAM Timing Control to reflect memory specifications starting with CAS Latency

For example,
Model F3-2133C10D-16GAB

• Timing 10-12-12-31
• CAS Latency 10
• Voltage 1.6V

First number in DRAM Timings to set is CAS Latency which is the number 10, followed by next three settings after CAS Latency to 12-12-31.

4) This memory has specifications for DRAM Voltage of
• Voltage 1.6V
This is higher than default value of 1.5v.

The DRAM voltage is listed as 2.5.8 in manual on page 2-14 of downloadable motherboard manual. The other settings are also listed on the preceding pages.

My XMP/ DOCP for AMD is enabled, but I will try typing it manually.
