So I plan on building a budget gaming pc with the Ryzen 3 1200 and the GTX 1050ti. I know for a fact that The Ryzen 3 1200 preforms much better when Overclocked, and wanted to overclock it as much as possible. Now, I know from a video on YouTube that the Ryzen 3 1200 can be overclocked to 4Ghz on stock cooling, which is what I plan to do. I know how to overclock, but I don't know about voltage. So if I plan on OC to 4Ghz, how much should I raise the voltage? Also, should I take it in steps? (start at 3.4Ghz, then 3.6, then 3.8) Or should I just go right to it.

first set you ram to the fastest speed it could goes and for voltages do not overpass safe one recommennded by cpu and ram maker or you will be in for new parts also go slow on the ovrclock to see if system will handle it without blue screen or non boot .

No chance 4.0Ghz on stock cooler for everyday using. Temps over 82-83 in my case + coller noise. OC 3,7Ghz without changing voltage is best for stock cooler. If you want more buy better coller. I have FERA3 and temp in stress test OC 4.0 max 72.
