Ever since I upgraded to Windows 10 I've been having issues with my wifi. I found out my network adapter didn't support windows 10 so I got a new one. I got a tp-link wnd7800 and now I'm not sure if I got something else that doesn't work. It connects immediately but there's no internet access. I've tried updating the drivers, uninstalling and reinstalling, etc. Nothing seems to help. My computer also freezes after being on for about 5 minutes every time now. Should I just get a different adapter or is there something else I can do?

I havent been able to check the log because I haven't been home but I also can't get internet when I'm connected to the mobile hotspot from my phone, not sure if that makes a difference. Also would router issues cause my computer to freeze too like it's doing?

Did try with LAN but on wireless I couldn't even get the test to load. On my phone I was getting 5 mbps so my wifi works and using my phone as a hotspot was just as slow on the computer. It's also still unstable and get the connection interrupted error on chrome about half the time I try to load a page still.

I also ran a network log last night and found that the driver keeps disabling the connection. I've tried the newest driver, the original driver, and everything in between. Does that still seem like a hardware issue?
