Is a PSU for Dell T5500 is compatible with the T5400?

Probably not. The T5400 has FBDIMM memory which requires al lot of power from the motherboard. I believe the T5400 has a standard 24 pin connector, and a proprietary 20 pin connector (different Voltages and pinout than ATX 20 pin). I don't think the T5500 has that connector.
