5 days ago, my WD dropped and hitted the floor and the usb cable was somewhat pulled/stretched out. Since then it wouldn't be recognized by my computer. My WD isn't listed in Disk Management. After I plugged it in, there is 4 clicking sound every 4 seconds.
Is the HDD broken because of the shock? Or the broken one is the USB cable? What should i do? Can I recover the data using data recovery software?
