Need to switch from AHCI to IDE, but BIOS doesn't show IDE as an option???

Anyway, is there any way to get IDE controllers on my PC? Kinda need them to fix freezes and stuttering on my SSD.

I'm using an Asrock ab350m with my Ryzen 1400.

I don't get it. Why would switching back to an old drive protocol (IDE) fix freezing on a relative newly built PC?

It can fix the stuttering/freezing an SSD can cause. I'm running out of options on fixing this.

did you check with other ssd/hdd un-attached?

also how is the sdd/hdd connecting to the mobo?
m.2? sata?

bios/chipset driver up to date?
