greetings from UK, I intend to start my first gaming PC build using ryzen cpu

CPU = AMD - Ryzen 3 1200 3.1GHz
Mobo = ASRock - AB350M-HDV MicroATX AM4
RAM = Corsair - Vengeance LPX 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR4-2133
Storage = Hitachi - Ultrastar 7K3000 2TB 3.5" 7200RPM
GPU = Zotac - GeForce GTX 1050 Ti 4GB Mini
PSU = Corsair - CXM 450W 80+ Bronze Certified Semi-Modular ATX
Cases = Kolink Victory Micro-ATX- Black

i already try checking, there are no compabilities issue from https://uk.pcpartpicker.com

but i'm still unsure and want to ask expert here whether it was good or not.
I'm still in doubt between choosing this 16gb ram option or 8gb with SSD. (your opinion please)
I actually prefer RX570 for GPU but the current price is not very friendly, so I pick GTX 1050Ti instead
Thank you kindly for any response

Solution
The 1200 got a poor overclocking potential. Go for 1300x. Optimized ur build :

Im no expert but I just built a ryzen pc myself. Everything looks good and would work well together. I personally would go with the 8GB and SSD option because its the better bang for yer buck with the GPU and CPU you picked.

If you would have gotten a gtx 1060 or 1070 with a ryzen 1600 for example it would make a lot more sense to go the over kill route with 16 GB of ram.

Hope that helps :)

Who said it had poor overclocking? It's got an unlocked multiplier. They will both top out around 4ghz anyway.

I'd go 1200 if you are going to overclock.

I don't know about the board, I have the ASRock ab350m pro 4 and have my R5 1600 at 3.7, but haven't done much tweaking either.

In fact the build above looks good, I think I'd still go 1200 if you are on a budget. If you want to go 1300x it's not a bad choice either.

The reason I said it got poor oc potential I cuz the stock cooler is weak for oc and the 1200 got lower clock speeds.
The 1300x on the other hand has decent clock speed and a light oc is enough to get it to 3.8? U have to push the 1200 a lot more than the 1300x to reach the same level of oc.

Don't you think 1.4v is a bit too much on such a cheap b350?
That's y I said a nominal 3.8 ghz.
The 1200 might require 1.375v for 3.8 whereas the 1300x may require only 1.35v or less. Guru3d didn't have a vcore vs frequency. That would have made things more clear.

The 1200 and 1400 share the same fate. Even the 1400 got the weak stealth cooler. That's why the 1200/1400 are not gaming oriented without a capable cooler to oc them. And the price difference between the x model is 20. The decent cooler I would consider is cryorig H7 which costs ~35.

thank you guys for the response, i really appreciate the info

actually im not really understand OC and doubt I can use the full potential of 1200 or 1300X at the moment,
but I've heard that amd release a friendly OC control for beginner so i picked B350 rather than A320
maybe I might find it useful in the future
