I'm currently looking to upgrade my current GPU (GTX 980s SLI), and either looking to get 2 1080ti's for around $1200-1400 or run a single GPU with theTitan XP for $1200. What would you guys recommend??? I'm pretty set with Nvidia cards, and with all the problems SLI has been causing in games lately, I'm not sure if I want to stay on board or move to a single GPU.

Solution
A single 1080Ti offers 98% of the XP's performance for about half the cost...; that being said, someone will get two XPs and SLI them anyway, as some have more money than sense... :)

with 1080ti you can get custom models of the card , and with titan you are limited to the reference desing,
While titan xp deliveres more performance its more expensive and it comes with the reference desing blower style fan.
and on the other hand 1080ti has custom variants and is slightly slower but it also costs less

I have one 2560x1440 144hz monitor and an lg oled b7 that I both enjoy switching off playing on and just want to have the best gpu possible to run everything maxed out on these high res displays.
