I've had my pc for a few years and it has always been laggy on games. Never have been able to figure out what the problem is and I don't want to replace anything without knowing what the problem is. I lag on games like Overwatch, even when on the lowest settings. I get normal temperatures as well.

How to make a log,

download hwinfo32,
install and open it,
check "sensors-only",
click "run",
at the bottom of the window click "logging start",
choose a name and place for the log like "hwinfolog" at the "desktop",
this log can be viewed/opened with either excel from Microsoft or libre office calc.
you can upload it onto a site which facilitates this like SaberCatHost or DropBox,these i like since not so much (or any) spam comes with these.
Just make one until this happens like you described.

I wil take a look at it,see if i can see what the cpu does.

Well, looking at your benchmarks, it looks like your RAM and processor are doing extremely poor. Which makes little sense, considering how even these 4th gen i5's are still pretty usable and even considered high-end.

Most of these parts are a little older, but not really old enough to be suffering the prefomance dunk they're taking now.
I went ahead and built this sytem (excluding case, peripherals and the other non-included stuff) and the TPD of the whole system is about 360 watts. So, it isn't power issues, unless you're really revving something up. Even then, a 250w buffer should be plenty.

I have narrowed everything to my processor. I enabled XMP in the BIOS and RAM isn't a problem anymore. Now I am just not sure what to look at or how to fix my underperforming processor.
