Hello, On PCPartPicker I have chosen my parts and it says My Samsung 960 Evo M.2 Is interfering with the other PCIE x4 Slot. Im just wondering if this will make the Graphics card stop working or if that is part of a different Slot. On PCPP it says: "The motherboard M.2 slot #2 shares bandwidth with a SATA 6.0 Gb/s port. When the M.2 slot is populated, one SATA 6.0 Gb/s port is disabled."
My Build: https://au.pcpartpicker.com/list/7M8HHN

Your graphics card will not be affected at all. The M.2 uses a SATA connection, while GPUs use PCI-E. Wha will happen is that one of the SATA ports, which is the port where a normal HDD connects to on a motherboard, will get disabled, leaving you with just 3 SATA ports available. Since you only have one HDD, that shouldn't be a problem, unless you plan on connecting four or more SATA devices like SSDs and HDDs. Either way, the GPU will not be affected anyway.

You do know that that the GTX 1060 is overpriced, right?

Thanks for the answer Its going to be my first build so i wasnt sure. i know that the 1060's price is inflated by the cryptomining but for $415 Australian its alright, You cant find much cheaper here unless you can find second hand. It used to be $445 but it just got reduced. Im fine with it unless you can find it somewhere cheaper. Thanks.

Didn't see it was AUD. Alright, everything looks good then.

Users of the typical Z270 using a Samsung M.2 960 EVO must make do with only 4 SATA ports *IF* they want full speed of the M.2, but, sharing bandwidth is possible. As it is, I seem to easily get by with 2 SATA ports disabled, and, two unused SATA ports remaining....

The 960 is indeed awesome for quick boot times, shutdown times, etc., but, accomplishes nothing (over the 850 EVO) in affecting actual gaming, truthfully....; for those prioritizing on gaming, M.2 is great *after* you've got adequate RAM, fast CPU, good GPU, etc...

But this isn't Z270.

that note is wrong. for ryzen cpu, the m.2 is using the lane from the cpu.
read the spec on the mobo
http://www.asrock.com/mb/AMD/AB350M%20Pro4/index.asp#Specification
- 1 x Ultra M.2 Socket (M2_1), supports M Key type 2242/2260/2280 M.2 PCI Express module up to Gen3 x4 (32 Gb/s) (with Ryzen Series CPU) or Gen3 x2 (16 Gb/s) (with A-Series APU)**

unless you are using the other one, which do NOT support 960 evo
- 1 x M.2 Socket (M2_2), supports M Key type 2230/2242/2260/2280 M.2 SATA3 6.0 Gb/s module**

So then using the Ultra M.2 Socket, would that interfere with anything?
