weird xbox 360 controller doesn't connect to pc

i have xbox 360 controller and i wanted to play with him in my pc so i bought from the Internet cable to connect the controller to my pc and i installed 5 different drivers from windows device manager and then i downloaded the latest driver and still doesn't connect to the pc in my pc i can see everything is good and no need to change drivers but still doesn't work just the controller cant the my pc even though its connected in usb pls help me

For the xbox 360 controller, you need a separate wireless receiver. The usb cable can provide power, but not connect to the pc. The xbox one controller does not have this restriction.

There is no way to connect an xbox 360 controller to a pc without the wireless receiver.

You can buy a clone receiver for cheaper, but you need it.
