quick question, I have 4gb of ddr3 1866 ram, and im planning to double it up to 8gb,my question is, Where will I see the difference in performance,if any. does it even make a difference? thank you
depends on the game. tripple A games tend to be bigger so will often require more than 2 gigs of ram, but a game like candy crush will use about a gig so you would see less of a performance bump.
truth is 8 gig is the recommended minimum now for a gaming build
gaming and memory intensive workloads yes you will see a difference as you wont be hitting the page file as often.
if all you do is play minesweeper and browse the web there wont be much of a difference.

more memory overall will boost gaming performance with everyday games? or only those who are heavy on that side
