Graphics card I/O hot?

As the title indicates my graphics card i/o plate is very hot but when I check temps they are in the 40's? Just wan't to know if this is normal or not.

The fan is exhausting hot air through the I/O plate. 40C -- 104F. That might feel warm. Since "very hot" is subjective, there is no way to really know if there is anything wrong. But if your readings are OK, I would say just ignore it.
