Hey guys greetings. I actually have a GTX 1050 Mini and I'm using a VGA/HDMI adapter from a VGA monitor to the GPU. I would like to know if there is any counterpart or disadvantage for using those adapters.
Im worried if the adapter or some cable may be hurted by doing the signal change.

By the way would appreciate to know if ever exists some way to get a Digital signal with my VGA monitor. I guess I still recieving the old VGA signal with this adapter but don't know if ever exists a way to get the digital one. Im sorry for my ignorance.

Would appreciate answers, thanks!!

Well the main disadvantage is that you are using GTX 1050 and not even getting the real quality out of monitor, but it wouldn't break anything in that case it's ok.

If your monitor is old one with VGA analog signal it can't get a digital one with adapters.
