Hey everyone,

I have had a EVGA GeForce Gtx 980 for a while now, and for as long as I can remember every time I run a game, high intensity or low, my computer seems to crash after a few minutes/ hours, and I could never get to the bottom of it. I say "seems to crash" because the computer screen turns black and the monitors' lose connection, but the computer seem to still be running. When I turn my PC off and back on sometimes all it will show is a solid white line across my monitor. I thought that this was because my Graphics Card was overheating, but it would always hover around 55 to 65 C, which should be completely fine for a 980. It never had problems when not on a game, and while the intensity of the game seems to matter it still crashes when running things like League of Legends, which a GTX 980 should be able to handle. From testing my PC with some games I concluded this:

Time it takes to crash the PC:

League of Legends: 2 Hours, 3 Games
Guild Wars: 45 Minutes
Paragon: 30 Minutes, 1 Game
Overwatch: 30 Minutes, 1 Game
Stardew Valley: Never (to be expected)
Counter Strike: Global Offensive: 2 Hours (rarely crashes)
Unreal Tournament: 30 Minutes, 1 Game
Borderlands 2: 45 Minutes
Warframe: 1 Hour

I could get more accurate measurements if needed.

I really need help with this problem, I have tried downgrading the drivers on my graphics card, but it still had the same result. Even when I turned the setting to lowest on games like Paragon and Overwatch, the PC would still crash in roughly the same times, improving only by around 20 minutes. I did try replacing it with a borrowed graphics card (GTX 1080), and all the games ran smoothly and never crashed the PC. The graphics card I am using never seems to overheat and stays at around 60 C, and when I raised my fans to max it still crashed. If anyone could help it would be much appreciated.
