I have an IDE with Windows 98 installed the thing is, it doesn't boot up. It says it's invalid. The last thing I remember doing was to repeatedly move the computer to the recycle bin (I was a child at the time) and I also remember that the Doom II icon transformed into a chip-like icon and dragged it self to the recycle bin. I left the computer for a few days and when I got back to it it said to insert a bootable drive.
I recently checked the contents of the IDE (through other computer) and the only icon I saw on that Desktop folder was the Doom II icon, I also found where that chip-like icon came from, it's from an executable file from the folder SYSTEM. Whenever I try to boot up from the original computer the message is in a different place (before it was above, started in the upper left side of the screen in English but now the font it's tinnier and below in Portuguese). Lastly I noticed that the path to the folders and My Documents are weird, maybe the computers don't know where to boot? Anyway, is there a way to fix it? Thank you :(
