Good day everyone. I know there's probably been quite a few of these.

I recently upgraded my graphics card to a gtx960 4gb from gigabyte. And since I have been contemplating an upgrade to my case and psu (since the psu is only 400w)

Im running a core2quad Q6600
2x HDD
1x SSD
1x gigabyte GTX960 4gb edition
1x wlan card (generic)
4x chassis fans, and a standard fan on the cpu cooler.

Now, on to my question:
I went into the local computer store today and the techie suggested I buy their Raidmax 530w psu. I have been doing research and the reviews out there for this psu are varied to say the least. It's like a 50/50 mix of amazing and utterly horrible. Does anyone know a well priced alternative I might be able to pick up online?

Additionally, the case I'm buying has the psu mounted at the bottom. The techie also said not to turn the psu upside down to (so the fan is facing upward into the case) as doing so would cause a short circuit.

Now, I am an electronic enthusiast , and the only truth I can see in that whole story is that maybe the electrolyte in the capacitors could potentially flow to the other end of the cap. But even so, I think it's bogus.

TL;DR - Is it safe to mount a psu upside down, and is the raidmax RX530SS a potential nuke?

Thank you for taking the time to read this.

For anyone wanting to suggest prices, I live in South Africa if that helps at all.
