I agree with the photo portion of this. Without seeing a photo of what you are speaking about, we really can't give you a detailed answer on how to fix it.

My assumptive guess is that you are implying that the brackets on the liquid cooler's CPU mount don't match that of the motherboard. Your CPU cooler should have came with multiple brackets to use with both an AMD or Intel CPU. As long as your socket is supported by Corsair and the cooler, it will mount to the motherboard.
