Hello everyone, i want to assemble a PC for VFX (in after effects and vray render) and Gaming (like GTA 5,etc.). I have reached on two builds and i can't stretch my budget more. Here are the builds -
First build -
-Intel i5 7500
-Asus B250 F Gaming motherboard
-Corsair DDR4 RAM 8GB (2400 Mhz) - i will increase my ram to 16 GB later on.
- MSI 1050 2GB Graphics Card

Second build -
-AMD Ryzen 5 1400
-MSI B350 Gaming Plus Motherboard
-Corsair DDR4 RAM 8GB (2400 Mhz) - i will increase my ram to 16 GB later on.
-MSI 1050 2GB Graphics Card

Please help me out in choosing with which build should i go with. If you would suggest me another build or a part, please make sure that the whole build will cost me the same.
Also do tell me why should i go with the build you are suggesting me.

Thank you.

The Intel rig might win in most things gaming, but, in the long term, it's possible the 4 extra threads available on the R5-1400 might help in your work related tasks....

I'd delay the purchase another month, and try to jump to the R5-1600...; it's 6c/12 thread design will outperform in modern games, and will certainly do nice in the multithreaded workloads such as editing, etc...

This.

1400 is good in blender, but 1600 is nearly 50% faster. The quad core is good now, but will be dated next year when games scale to meet the change across the industry.
