Hello,
I need to set up an internet connection for my home's heat pump (or the warranty will expire). Since the house where I need to set it up is not yet finished and there is no internet near me, the only Internet choice I have is Satellite (at least for now)

The heat pump I'm using is Luxtronik 2.0 (if that helps).

You can connect the Heat pump only by LAN. So I need to find a 4G supported modem which has LAN built in (pretty simple).

But the house has 2 floors and a total of (250m^2), so I need to take into consideration the Router I will most likely need in the future. All 4G compatible routers I've checked are only compatible with 4G modems that have USB (No LAN, (which I need)).

Now I researched and came to a conclusion of 2 choices:
1. Buy a 4G modem (USB, NO LAN), in which I insert a SIM card, use a USB to Ethernet adapter to connect it my heat pump, and later buy a compatible ASUS router to whom I will connect with USB. However, I have serious doubts whether the USB to Ethernet adapter will work for my Heat pump. I was thinking of buying this
2. Buy a NETGEAR R7100LG (quite expensive) which supports SIM cards and acts like a Router. So I should have no problems connecting it to my heat pump via LAN (I think). The problem is the price, I don't think I really need a ~280$ Router.
3. Buy a 4G Modem that has LAN. Connect it to my heat pump. And when I move in the house throw it away or sell it. And buy a new 4G Modem which supports the wanted Router.

What is the best solution here for me? Please help out, cause I've been stuck on this problem for quite some time

Buy USB Modem adapter that is compatible with ASUS or similar router with USB port.
Then connect heat-pump to router with lan connection.

Then that router will be able to provide 4g to rest of devices when you move in, or can be used with DSL/Cable/Fiber provider when available in your area.

Thank you for taking your time to reply, guys! I ended up buying a simple NETGEAR 4G LTE Modem. At the time of writing this post, sadly my brain didn't realise that routers are compatible with any modem and that has a WAN / LAN port... I don't need the 4G USB Dongle at all. ..

So, for now, I just went for the Netgear modem and later on I will buy a separate router that I will be able to hook it up.
