Hey, i need help finding myself a case for my msi z97 player 5. I don't know anything about cases. Are all ATX cases compitable with my mobo?

Cpu: i7 4790k
Cooler: Cooler master evo212
Motherboard: msi z97 player 5. (https://www.msi.com/Motherboard/Z97-GAMING-5.html#hero-specification) <- link to my mobo.

Any help is appreciated!

Any mid or full ATX case will be compatible.

There is 3 main sizes of motherboards (ITX, mATX, and ATX).
You can fit a small board into a larger case as the standards still apply, you just cant for obvious reasons put a large board in a case physically smaller than the board.

There are 4 main sizes of cases: ITX, microATX (mATX), mid ATX and full ATX.
Your board will fit in the last 2.

you are welcome

and if need any advice/help with a case just post with how much you want to spend on it and some one will give you some ideas

In addition to the previous suggestions, you should be very aware of what GPU you would like to fit in there and what type of cooling you plan to use.

Running into space limitations, like your GPU being too long to fit, hella sucks during assembly.
