Why am I getting low FPS?

So I recently got this new setup:

msi gtx 1060 3gb
Ryzen 5 1600x (has cooler master liquid cooler)
Gigabyte ab350 gaming 3 mobo
16gb corsair ddr4 ram
550w corsair psu
1tb hdd

Theoretically, I should be getting fps around 300 in csgo, whereas I am getting around 150ish. Drivers are updated to latest. Any reason why this is happening?

150 is not low if you max out settings. Also, try another game, CSGO is very volatile in performance and is an older game.

Hi there.

I would recommend turning off Motion Blur and Vertical Sync, if you didn't already, because they suck a lot of FPS. Also, you could verify the integrity of the files from the steam app, so you can be sure that the game does not have any kind of file error.

It comes along with the Ryzen Master software. Install & reboot and the profile should be visible in the control panel.
