PC won't POST

I built a pc that won't post.
Motherboard: MSI 945p neo5
BIOS: ami bios

With kingmax 512 mb ram: continuous beep
With kingmax 1 gb ram: no beep no post beep either but i don't have other ram to test with

what do u mean it don´t post? I see if you are using those amounts of ram, minimum is 4gb and 8gb is getting to be standard, you can´t launch modern OS with that amount of ram, and if it beeps, do u even have os installation, have you connected your hdd/ssd properly, do u even have OS installed? Take advice from me, next time include more information even when it sounds like useless info but the more you include, there is more chance somebody will help you ;)

Os is installed (windows xp)
Blank screen
And the rams are working i got it from another pc (ddr2)
I checked amibios beep codes and there were no continuous loops
I just built it for nostalgia
