Router with two or more different antennas

Hi all,

I have a house in a rural area with a 50 m long garden. I am trying to get signal all the way to the back, so would it be an issue if I have one 5 db antenna and one 9db antenna on the same router( effectively just replacing one of the antennas with a 9db one as most low range routers come with two antennas nowadays)

If you want outdoor WIFI the best answer is to run an ethernet cable to a window or the outside of the house and add an additional, directional WIFI source. Something like this -- https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16833168115 Put that in a window facing the garden or mount on the outside of the house, since it is waterproof. You then have good WIFI coverage.
