So I was laying in bed on my phone I just woke up from a nap and i all of a sudden heard what sounded like a text to speech voice coming through my speakers. They said 3 lines didn't catch it all besides about a guy named Ryan and something about kms. So after that I went to my computer and nothing was running at the time. I decided to go to network and just snoop around and to my surprise there was two things under my computer saying something like network infrastructure.... didn't get to snoop around or catch the name of them because when i clicked on one of them they ended up both disappearing real quick. I wouldn't be too sketched out if I had only one weird situation sad to say I would have just moved on but seeing two strange occurrences like that back to back made me suspicious. I was wondering if there are any good programs to download for security or malware maybe. Also settings I should change/make sure to have set on or off....? If so anything helps thanks!

The first suspect is probably some "pop up" ad that ran.
Video and audio.
As of late I am also experiencing various audio ads launching and running even though I believed that such events were being blocked. Not so it seems.
What you do need to do is to identify the specific source and work from there.
May be that the "bad guys" forcing ads down our throats are simply taking advantage of Microsoft's continued updates that reset things to what Microsoft wishes us to have.....
To be fully honest, I am not sure about what is going on. But it all makes some sense from a cynical viewpoint.
Try to narrow down the "strange stuff" to something specific....

so after about an hour of playing around and seeing no clue what im doing lol. I decided to give up and get on WOW. I went to click on discord and it hit me. I then snooped around in discord and sure enough! I found this in one of the rooms I was joined in.

lmao so like you said I identified my source and you're right it was nothing to worry about. But I am still a little confused on how they did a text to speech on discord guess it shows that I still have a lot to learn lol.
