i ve dell 960 with its company made components except nvidia gt 730 card, its original processor was e 8400 wich was cor 2 du processor, i ve upgraded it by placing a processor in it names as intel q 6600 which is cor to qaud , the question is that should i upgrade the processor's driver to make it working properly ?
i ve win 10, i tried to upgrade drivers from it but window told me that it has upgraded driver even window did nt upgraded drivers in its update history penal. i could nt find any driver on the net or on the intel's site, plz help me to find out.
the second problem is that after replacing the driver my pc's sound has been increased and it is generating more heat then b4, i ve the latest version of it's bios. plz guide me tha what to do to decrease its heat and to find out a driver for this processor if needed and where to check the driver version of the processor. thx

You might go here and look at what others have done with that system. Look at CPU % scores and GPU% scores. that is % ranking of all systems tested.

The Q6600 is not the best choice.
The GPU heat might be because of the power hungry Q6600 heating things up inside the case. An expansion slot blower should help clear that out. if you have the Mini Tower, and you have the tall black plastic heatsink cover with 6 holes in the top T9303 would be a good cooler uograde.
