Bought a custom built computer from cyber power PC have a top of the line CPU cooler , still hitting up to 100 degrees C . This is a relatively new computer and i am truly lost . I recently upgraded my GPU but do not think that has much to do with the temperature of a CPU . My motherboard is a G1.sniper z170 and graphics card is a evga gtx 1050 ti sc . Please help me out .
Thank you

Is your cooler air or water? Did you possibly bump the cooler? It may have broke a dried out thermal grease from the CPU or cooler. You may need to reapply thermal paste. If its a water cooler check to see if pump is working by touching the radiator while the CPU is warm. If its cool then the water isn't being moved by the pump.

Going to try reapplying thermal paste and tightening the cpu cool back on . I’m not sure if the cooler and cpu were touching which I read could be the problem . I’ll let u know how it goes
