Hi guys, as the title says my motherboard got stuck in some sort of bug and I don't know what else to try/do.
My specs:
MB: Asus z270E
CPU: 6700k
RAM: 16gb 2666
GPU: GTX 1080 Asus strix
It all started yesterday when I got some new components (second gpu and fans) and before they even arrived to me I thought I could formatt the pc just to have a fresh OS. I formatted all the hdd and ssd and then the problem appeared. Before this I had no problems at all with the pc.
When I turn on the pc the first and only thing that I see is that black screen with a static underscore to the top left side of the screen (not in the corner as many people in the forum have written).
The problem is that I can't press any Function keys, can't access bios nor OS.
I have tried everything I've came with and everything on the internet. I really need your help.
->I have tried changing memory sticks and memory slots (all of them are functioning)
->I have tried using the jumper and taking out the battery for a few minutes (The pc restarts when turning it on as it should do when you use the jumper)
->I have tried 5 different hdd and ssd even formatting them to check if that would help, nope.
-> I have tried with gpu mounted, taking out the graphics card and even with another gpu from a friend. Nothing changed.
-> THE ONLY thing that seems to make something else than the black screen with the underscore is when inserting a usb with a Windows .iso inside, then I can "install" Windows into the hdd but to never be able to boot it. I have tried to troubleshoot through the Windows.iso but it doesn't do anything.
