Computer randomly restarts

Sometimes my PC will properly boot, sometimes it just constantly restarts the second it loads desktop. If it has properly booted, It will last for roughly 30 minutes on low load (not even google open, just desktop and nothing else) and it will just restart. Fans dont even stop, just restarts.

Specs:
GPU: Palit NVIDIA 2GB GDDR5 1050 (2-3 months old)
CPU: FX-4300 AMD with stock cooler (5 years old)
PSU: 500w, not entirely sure what brand it is, 5 years old or so
HDD: Toshiba 7.2k RPM 1TB
Motherboard: MSi 760GM-P23 (FX) (AM3)

Occasionally it will just boot to a black screen, not even get past the MSi screen and I will have to restart to get anywhere with it.

I've tried looking for a similar issue but I cant really find anything.

EDIT: Since the issues have started I haven't even had a chance to change drivers on the 1050, and the time it stays on is decreasing every day I try to get it working.

I can't afford any major fixes (new CPU, motherboard, even a powersupply) right now

Yeah, that is a fake 500W. I can't find the specs on it. Probably too embarrassed to present them. I don't see any 6+2 pin connectors listed; a 500W should have at least 2. Looks like a real cheap unit.
But if you can use the integrated video, you can at least use the PC for stuff other than gaming.

Unfortunately, the PSU would be the most obvious culprit. But if funds are tight right now, maybe you can try disconnecting as many peripherals as possible in case one of them is defective and causing the fault. You might get lucky. Sometimes a bad drive will cause that too. Check for loose or frayed power cables too. Do you have a static electricity problem where you are at? Sometimes just barely touching one of the ports will cause a reboot if that is the problem.

It could be an issue, as I mentioned it is an offbrand PSU that I had to get when fixing a faulty 650 that I first got. The wires were too short to make use of the cable management section so it could be an issue. I will be saving for an EVGA 500w PSU so hopefully this fixes the issue, as the offbrand was a temporary solution.

Looks like i'll be without a PC for a few weeks if I can't find any other issues with the wires.

Yeah I tried it when my 650 died but it runs like a right piece of shit, had to order a new GPU on my phone because it couldn't even open IE

https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B01K236WLA/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1 - Only got it to get my PC working to begin with while I sorted out a 1050, which is when I found that it ran terribly without a GPU

Yeah I was kinda shocked when I saw the cables, the one that I got given by CSL had more than that and that too was a fake 500W. You'd have some trouble even wiring that thing up with proper cable management on anything bigger than a micro tower. I had troubles at first connecting the main power lead and I have a feeling that that is the main source of trouble. I could get the specs off the side of the unit but its upside down.

I'll be buying a new PSU once I can afford it, hopefully thats all that was the problem, and once I can afford more than that i'll be buying a Ryzen 5 1600 to swap out the dated beaten up FX 4300 and motherboard, but those two will be a bit later down the line. I'm having to use a desk fan to blow cool air into the case because the stupid fuckers at CSL didnt put any exhaust fan and kept a stock cooler on a 4300 with it overheating even on idle.
