Is it actually a "new" motherboard?

EDIT: Quite a few one star reviews on Newegg for that board. Interested why you went with the same model as the one that died on you. Do you know what caused your previous board to "burn out"

In response to Ham Brown, It was a open box figured to give it a shot didn't really hear any bad reviews on open box products so I went for it, Also I would have went back to my old mobo but it's a ASUS z170i pro gaming which is pretty pricey

In response to tha__crippler it's plugged into the 1060 which is brand new and works in my other build which I will add I can't test my ram processor or mobo with cause it's an amd ddr3 build

In a vacuum, it sounds like you may have gotten a bad mobo. You will have to test with known-good components to narrow down further.

I have been doing a ton of PSU research lately and have generally seen that the "green letter" Corsair PSUs are not good quality so that would be the next suspect in line.
