When I use display driver uninstaller- DDU - I also use the clean install through nvidia, is this ok?

Question in title...
Sidenote: I reset my windows 10 pc (ran into issues after registry cleaner.. sigh) in the future is this necessary with a full reset, and can i not just use device manager to update drives or is it unreliable?

I don't check the clean install box. I don't because there may be a slim chance doing that will cause some weird issue. I just install the driver and physX with clean install unchecked when running DDU first (I also make it delete the nvidia folder).

Don't use the device manager to update drivers unless there is no other alternative.
