Of course I didn't check when I was buying my motherboard and my case to see how many fans I could hook up to it. And after buying I noticed that the case comes with 3 fans but my motherboard only supports 2 system fans and 1 cpu fan. I was just wondering if someone could tell me if my motherboard would be safe if i used a fan splitter for the front 2 fans. This is my first PC build and I don't want to damage anything. Thanks in advance!

On the case pics I'm seeing a couple of molex female header adapters.

I'd assume from that at least a couple of those fans are molex powered rather than proper fan header connections.

I'd get the case before you drop money on any splitter cables.
You will likely not need them.

Most fan headers provide 1Amp max.

Typically, case fans are in 0.15-0.25A max (each). Unless your case fans are really high powered (unlikely), you should be able to run a max of 3 fans from a single header.

That's actually why it's near impossible to find fan splitters than can run more than 3 fans.
