Good day,

I recently built my PC but it won't boot. It turns on but all I get is a black screen and I don't know what else to do. I've searched YouTube for answers and here as well but nothing has worked. I still get a black screen.

Asus P8Z77-V LX
Intel i7 3770-k
GeForce GTX 670
SeaSonic X-1050 Power Supply

Everything is new except the video card. I don't have the money to buy a speaker so I'm limited in what I can do to troubleshoot the problem.

I had my videocard installed (with power) and I have it uninstalled. Using the HDMI port on the mobo_Only cables plugged are the power cables.

The only dumb question is the one that isn't asked. Don't worry, sir.

OK, so you're "breadboarding" the system outside the case using the iGPU and just the bare essentials. Nothing in the expansion slots, nothing connected to the board except for PSU, keyboard. Yes?

Yep. The only thing on the board (aside from processor) is the RAM, keyboard, power, and HDD.

The board is new but was tested; really don't know why though. I'll see my finances and might buy a new board if I can't fix this one.
