Random PC Crash/Freeze...help me diagnose which hardware component is at fault

I built my PC a few years ago with parts from amazon (needed a 6 monitor computer for monitoring different applications), but it randomly crashes (not BSOD...the images on the monitors just freeze in place...like a frozen clock...so i don't always know the PC has crashed until i try to move my mouse and it is frozen...which is frustrating). Sometimes the PC will run for hours or days without freeze crashing...other times just an hour..it seems to be very random.

I've tried installing and running windows 7 off different hard drives, but that had no effect...random freezes still happen (so i think the HDD are ok).

I ran the windows memory test, and it found no errors in my RAM (so i think i've ruled out RAM and HDD errors). So, i'm down to either

a) power supply crashing (randomly)
b) graphics cards crashing (i have 3 of the same card...so that seems like a likely candidate)
c) motherboard?
d) processor?

help me pleeeeeaasse? =)

how do i test these components to find where the error is? The crash is random and i don't know how to force it to happen. The PC will crash (eventually) whether i'm actively using it or just sitting at my desk looking at my screens.

Solution
Sound like either your PSU or CPU.

To maybe rule out the PSU, I would take out 2 GPU`s and only leave 1 in there, Then run a GPU benchmark in a loop for 3-5 hours. If nothing happens. Then plug the rest of the GPU`s back in and do the same again. If it does not freeze I would not say it is your PSU that is the problem.

For CPU you can run Aida64 stress test or Prime95
Just leave it running for 4 - 12 hours.

Start there, and post back if something crashed, or if nothing crashed at all.
