I just upgraded to 1000mbs internet I have a TP-Link Archer C9 router but I'm only getting 300mbs I also have a TP Link gigabit wifi extender. What can I do to get my speed up to its full potential?

Solution
So you will get low latency and fast speeds on the PS4, all the wireless stuff will be lucky to get 300Mpbs at any significant distance from the router.

Bottom line, everything is working fine (wireless is just no where near as fast as advertised -- such as the way that router speeds are marketed include adding all the wireless radios together, which of course no connected device does).

Are you connected with an Ethernet cable or with wireless?

That router has a gigabit WAN port and should get around 750Mbps for upload or download (about 1100Mbps combined) if used with a cable and adequate modem.

If wireless, forget it you are not going to even get close to gigabit with a wireless connection.
