I have currently a FX-4200 125w cpu in my 760gma-p34. I was wondering the best cpu I could upgrade to on the AM3+ socket. The whole build is a FX-4200 with a Cooler Master 212 EVO, a 300 watt PSU, 3 case fans, 2 HDDs, 12 GB of ram (4GB and 8GB sticks together I know not great but all I got), and a PNY GT710 which I do game with. I was thinking about getting a GTX 1050ti and was wondering the best cpu I could upgrade to with the least bottleneck possible. I do understand that this platform is dead but dont have money for a whole new mobo, ram, and cpu.

first of all: PSU! get some high quality one (tier 3 at very least) to handle that system + future upgrades, u don't want the PSU to suddenly fail/die midway and take your upgraded rig down with it... (http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/id-2547993/psu-tier-list.html) also, with stronger PSU, u can OC that CPU to give u more performance :) and even when u upgrade the system later on, u can still use that PSU

second: i think FX-8320 should be handle up to 1070 just fine (my friend use that 1070+FX-8320 combo and he likes it) that FX could probably last u 1-3 years at most...
i suggest for the CPU, try to find a used one, should cut up some cost

GTX 1050ti is amazing, but as u going to upgrade your CPU and most likely ur PSU too, u might...
