Hey guys, I built this pc around last year and it's had some weird problems recently. A few months back it started randomly resetting. I then found out I could get it to stop resetting for a while if I pushed the cables into my Mobo some more, and this works for about a week, until the cycle repeats. Today, I was playing the destiny 2 beta with a stream in the background before going to bed and everything freezes for a second, then goes to a blue screen. On the bottom it says "if you Call a support person, give them this info "CLOCK_WATCHDOG_TIMEOUT." And it's been stuck at 10% for about half an hour. I'm kinda nervous since I put in quite a bit of money into this pc and I definitely can't build a new one

Specs:
GTX 1060 from msi (6gb)
i7 6700k at 4.0Hz
EVGA power supply
Enthoo pro m evolve case
1TB SSD
Z-170gaming Mobo

Any help is greatly appreciated!!

generally you would want to go to your motherboard vendors website and update the BIOS and the motherboard drivers. if you get the problem after you have done the updates then you might provide the memory dump files.

three main causes of this error but the bios and driver update will fix two of the main causes.

On your system, there should be a file 'memory.dmp' in C:\Windows (C partition, folder Windows).
Upload this file to a 3rd party uploader, dropbox, onedrive, google drive or any uploader that can handle the size of this file, then share the file and post the share link in your reply.

I click on the memory.dmp notepad file but it tells me I don't have permissions even though I'm the only person who uses this PC (also ty very much for your patience)
Edit: I downloaded drop box and every time i try to copy the memory.dmp notepad file into dropbox nothing happens

The dmp file is downloading in dropbox, its looks like its gonna take a while (4.5Gbs)
Edit: is it normal for the upload to take this long? i think its been about 8hrs and it's barely half done
