When playing a game or browsing the internet, I find that pretty frequently that my internet will go offline and not allow me to load pages or disconnect me from a match etc. yet I can still verbally communicate with my friends through discord without any interruption or drop in quality. This happens anywhere from every hour or so to two or three hours apart. If anyone has any answers as to why this happens or even a solution that would be greatly appreciated.

May not be the "internet disconnected" per se.
The internet is still intact but the communication paths to the gaming site are disrupted while the Discord communication paths are not disrupted.
Different servers, different paths for the packets.
Not sure, full disclosure, about where and how the two paths may actually coincide or split apart.
May be that the gaming site is being blocked or someone is cheating and disrupting your play.
