The PC is mainly for gaming, but I also use programs like Photoshop, Sony Vegas, etc. I don't use them that often though. I will be playing games like PUBG, GTA V, CS:GO, H1Z1... Everything I've read on the internet is completely different and I'm very confused and I don't know which CPU should I choose. Thanks in advance!

IMHO there's no reason to go Intel right now if it isn't the 7700K, which is an absolute beast for gaming. That's because Coffeelake is right around the corner and they'll bring a bunch of extra cores as well and may even drop the prices of older chips... If you want a intel build, i'd advise to wait a bit.

With that said, if you need a all around great build, the Ryzen is your way to go, it's great, easy to overclock, has 8 cores and will game just(or very near) as the 7600K. It's also better at working with faster RAM.

So, tbh i'd go with the Ryzen build or wait for coffeelake.

Thank you. I will be getting my pc parts maybe in 1 month or a few weeks. So if the coffeelake is out I might change my decision. I found a 7700k on sale 10$ but as far as I know it doesn't come with a cooler and can't really get it...

It doesn't yeah, just like your 7600K.

Yeah, save those builds, when you have the money to get them, come here again and we'll recommend the best option considering everything that's available in the market.

I think the 1700 and the 7700 are closer in price. The 7700 is the CPU I would choose. You don't have to choose a K version. Choose the 7700 and the cooler comes with it. https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819117727 and http://www.ebay.com/itm/like/232274537416?chn=ps&dispItem=1 are a couple of options.

If the scenario was flipped and the PS, Vegas and the like were a priority I would have chosen the 1700(x).

I know that some have used both Sky and Kaby lake with their motherboards along with a BIOS update. Coffeelake MIGHT also accept a couple generations but that isn't known right now. The CPU upgrade path would be a dead end with the 7700. Coffeelake might not be.
