Hi all !

My friend has an i3 7100 PC no dGPU as of now powered by a Zebronics 450watt black gold PSU with 11amp output on a single +12v rail.

How safe is it and does it require replacing ASAP ??!!

Solution

No way that that psu is even close to a 450watt psu. I would replace it even if it could be fine running in that pc for a while.

A good 450 Watt PSU should have in excess of 35 amps available on the +12 rail. anything less is suspect at best and a fire hazard at worst. As PSU's go Zebronics makes good boat anchors!
