Hello all,
Thanks for any answers in advance.

I7 7700k
ASUS Maximus Hero IX
16 GB Cosair vengence 3000
G1 Gaming 1080
Corsair 750i PS
Corsair H100i Water Cooler
960 Evo Samsung M.2 SSD
Windows 10 64 bit

I recently put my new system together and everything ran smooth as glass for about 2 weeks. Last night while playing Mechwarrior Online, the game froze and I lost video signal. I rebooted the system and when the computer got to the windows log in screen, I had white lines going across the monitor on top and the rest of the screen was gray/black. I tried to reboot 3 more times with the same result.
I switched out the 1080 with another GPU and it seemed to correct the error, so I went ahead and reinstalled the 1080.
I was able to get into windows fine after that. I then ran Skyrim to make sure this wasnt an MWO issue. The game would run 10-20 minutes and I and the computer would just shut off and reboot itself. This happened multiple times.
As I rebooted it the 3rd or 4th time, the system then seemed like it had some kind of power issue. the fans wouldnt light up and it wouldnt boot. It keep restarting but not doing anything.
I then reseated all the power cables. This seemed to fix the power issue, however now when I launch into a game, i just get a black screen and the fans max out, causing me to have to reboot the system by holding the power button down.

Suggestions on where to start with this? I have already tested my 1080 in another machine and had zero issues, so i can rule that out.

Solution
Sounds as if the power pr voltage regulators might be 'browning out'....sometimes liquid coolers allow no residual cooling to voltage regulator circuitry on mainboard; open the case, and put a small fan blowing across motherboard VRM power transistors....(often, 8-11 of them in a row, 1/2" tall....)

Or, the PSU could be weakening under load...
