Hello i currently own a i5 4440s @ 2.8 ghz and i've been thinking if i should buy a g4560, my gpu rn is a r7 260x 2gb soon to upgrade to a gtx 1050 ti 4gb

Is the g4560 worth it? will a g4560 + gtx 1050 ti outperform an i5 4440s + gtx 1050 ti? i need your help thank you

They are basically on par in a way. Although the g4560 has slightly faster clocks and newer tech., the 4440s has 2 extra physical cores which will help games and programs to scale better in terms of optimization.
If buying new, then the g4560 could have been considered, but since you already own the 4440s, there is no point buying the g4560. It is a true quadcore and should serve you fine for now. Just pair it with the 1050ti and you should be good.

I agree with Hellfire above, the 2 cores you have in your haswell more than makes up for the difference in MHZ. Just sit on your haswell until you upgrade your entire platform. The 1050TI would do fine in your haswell setup, i think your FPS might even be more stable in most cases.
