Hello, everyone.

I have been using my computer without any issues for about 6 weeks now. Today, however, I started crashing out of games (Overwatch and CS GO) with a black screen. The LED in my case stayed on and the fans, CPU cooler and GPU fans kept spinning but my monitor stopped detecting any signal. I thought my CPU or GPU was overheating and was able to boot into Windows 10 a couple of times having left the system to cool for an hour, but it would continue to crash in the same way when I tried to game.

Unfortunately, the last time this happened I was unable to turn the system off manually using the power button and had to shut it down at the wall and the LEDs on my peripherals no longer lit up. Now, the only front panel connector that appears to be work is the LED colour changer (i.e. the fan controller, power button and reset button are all failing). In addition to this, the CPU EZ Debug LED now lights up (the RAM, GPU and boot device lights do not, so I assume they are working fine), whereas before it would not. I have not overclocked any of my hardware. My system is now failing to post at all, let alone boot into Windows.

I have tried leaving it for several hours, turning the power off and reseting CMOS. If anyone knows how to troubleshoot/solve my issues that would be great.

Thanks.

For anyone interested, today I reseated, cleaned and reapplied thermal paste to the CPU and the system is now back to normal.
