I recently updated the PC I built which had integrated graphics with a dedicated graphics card ( GeForce GTX 1050 Ti SC). This upgrade went fine, a week later I upgrade the CPU from an Intel i3-3225 to a Intel Core i5-3570. The install seemed to have went smoothly but when I turned on the PC I get a blank scree. The fans include the CPU fan all turn on, their is no indication that anything is wrong but the computer wont boot. I tried placing the i3 processor back in to see if it was a problem with the i5 but now that processor wont boot either. Any thoughts on what the issue is or how to best trouble shoot it? Thanks.

It does not take much. Pins at socket are SO delicate. You should remove CPU and take a good look at socket, with powerful light source, and check if there are no bent pins.
When swapping CPU, make sure to reset CMOS after the swap but before powering up for first time. This forces motherboard to actively check for CPU installed. Also, make sure new CPU is supported by your current BIOS version. Maybe you just forgot to connect CPU fan or 4-pin EATX (or 8-pin EPS) to the motherboard after the swap.
However, if the old CPU does not work either, the first thing I would suspect would be damage to CPU socket during CPU installation.

That is my fear with the old CPU not working that somehow I a damaged something, not sure how it would have happened.

check the CPU socket pins
