I have made a custom wooden PC case with proper ventilation and stuff. My motherboard is installed to the wooden board via brass standoffs and I made holes to screw in the hard drives. The PSU will be held in place with a velcro or cable ties until I can come up with a more permanent solution such as a custom wooden enclosure with proper mounting holes and vent holes - basically a wooden bracket to screw in the PSU which is also screwed into the wooden board. My only problem is how can I mount the graphics card to the board? I know people have done this cause I have seen several wall mounted PC's but they never say how they mount the graphics card to the board. I have a graphics card extension cable to lay it flat. Can I use some kind of screws and washers to raise the graphics card away from the board? What is the best method? Will the PCB of the graphics card get hot and overheat if it is zip tied directly onto the wooden board? What I cut a hole for the pcb to breath and install a piece of metal that has holes in it that I got from amazon? Would that suffice? Many thanks in advance!
