I was able to use 1440p before and now I get no signal. It's a 4K TV (LG 49 UH770V) and a GTX 780 GPU. 1440p used to work fine, but try and run games fullscreen in that resolution it no longer works

EDIT: I think I know what it was. Games are trying to output at 1440p60 when the TV will only take 30 fps at that resolution

I would set the input to 1080p@60Hz. (in the NVidia CP, HDTV section).

Your HDTV will upscale to 4K, and your games will render at 1080p. AFAIK that's the optimal setup for your PC. You'd need a much better GPU to run games at 4K.

*I can't test this, but can you set the desktop to 4K then run games at "1920x1080" with other choices in the game settings?

Either way, probably just sticking with 1080p will make the most sense.

That's how some games are set to run
