Hi Guys,
I am running Asus z170 pro with Trident G Skill 3200hz DDR4 16GB Ram and a i7 7700k 4.2ghz (updated bios to support CPU)..

After getting windows 10 installed, I realised that the RAM was only reaching 2133hz instead of its full 3200hz. I firstly enabled XMP to do the job for me but the system failed to post. I then left XMP on and upped the voltage, still failed.
So I decided to do it bit by bit manually and only managed to get as high as 2400hz to post (which still froze and random black screened on me). Even after playing with the voltage, I couldn't get it any higher at all.
Its my first time playing with the BIOS this much so im hoping its something simple but enabling XMP in the BIOS was really simple and just didnt work.
Any ideas?
Liam
