Tried this but still no result. Maybe the GPU is dead?

There are many options you can try:
1. Get another GPU and make sure your motherboard's PCI-E is working. A different and working gpu will narrow the problem to the GTX 1060.
2. if you don't have access to another GPU, try all the ports on the GTX 1060, and try a different PCI-e slot if motherboard allows it.
3. I doubt it is the problem but try a different HDMI or Displayport cable.
4. Just return it and ask them to check it for you, it can be a dead gpu.

Hope this helps
