GPU Causing Game Crashes

I'm having a very strange and specific issue with that I believe is my GPU. Games, specifically higher-end games (sometimes), crash about 5 minutes or so into the game.

The crashes vary, but usually it involves the screen freezing, usually glitched some how, and audio continuing to play. After that, my computer will either lock up and become laggy, or completely reboot. If it's the former, it usually becomes quite slow and I have to restart it to bring it back to full performance.

I don't believe it's my GPU overheating ,as it rarely gets above 70c, even on intense games like Dragon Age: inquisition. I've also completely uninstalled the drivers with DDU and reinstalled them from the nvidia website, but no luck.

My current theory is that it might be the PSU not providing enough power, causing the GPU to lock up and lag the rest of the system and crash games, but I am not positive and want to know for sure what the issue is.

It should also be noted that some games run fine for hours, such as Rocket League and Diablo 3 with no crashes.

Things I've Tried:

  • Doing a windows refresh
Opening up the case and checking all the connections
    Checked my ram for corruption
    Reinstalled drivers.

Specs:

  • Manufacturer: CyberPowerPC
    Model: GXI5500BJ
    OS: Windows 10 Home
    Case: Raidmax Monster II
    Motherboard: MSI Z270-A Pro
    HDD: 1TB, brand ???
    SSD: Adata 128GB
    CPU: Intel i7-7700k
    CPU Cooler: Stock CoolerMaster
    GPU: MSI GeForce GTX 1060
    Ram: Adata 8Gb x2 (16GB Total)
    PSU: ATNG ATM-600FB

I've done a lot of googling and most point to either overheating, the PSU, or faulty GPU. I don't feel my card is faulty because it ran every game i've tried at full 60 frames, except when they crashed. Also, I can't test the GPU in another computer, because I don't have one.

I'm hoping the issue may be something I overlooked, such as a setting or driver issue, but if not, I suppose the first troubleshooting step is to purchase a new PSU.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, as this has been giving me a horrible headache for a couple of weeks.
